Raleigh Cary/Weston Parkway
A good choice if you want a little more space. These are suite-style rooms with kitchens, which can be helpful if you’re traveling with kids or staying a bit longer. It’s in a quiet area but still an easy drive to everything.
Embassy Suites
Raleigh-Durham Research Triangle
A solid all-around option, especially for families. Larger rooms, made-to-order breakfast, and an evening reception. Good balance of comfort and convenience, and a bit more of a “hotel experience” than the others.
The Umstead Hotel and Spa
If you’re looking to make a weekend out of it, this is the spot. The Umstead is a luxury hotel set on beautiful wooded grounds with a lake, a top-tier spa, and one of the best restaurants in the area. Definitely more of a splurge, but a great option if you want something special.
